A few years ago, I had the idea for a website that would tell the stories of the Azorean people. Immigrants and locals alike, across all islands. Featuring their projects, lives and stories. I also wanted to collect legends and historical accounts from the archipelago.
In 2020 I started the project and loved it. However, life got in the way and I never had the ability to commit the time and effort this project needs and deserves.

Eventually I had to admit to myself that I had to make a decision. I kept thinking about this project all the time, always with guilt and sadness. I wanted to do it, but I had no time or resources. I also faced some health issues which forced me to reduce my workload. After lots of thinking, I decided to let go of Azorean Stories for good in early 2026. My heart is heavy deleting the page, but it is for the best.
I copied some of the previously published into this website for you to read. The project AZOREAN STORIES, however, will not be continued. Thank you for your love and support.
